North Lanarkshire Half Marathon
RUN NL are delighted to introduce the North Lanarkshire Half Marathon event for 2025, as part of our comprehensive events schedule.
Taking place on Sunday 24th August 2025 at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility.

This Half Marathon event shall see participants aged 16 years+ enter a unique race event that will be showcased through an exciting and brand new route within the Motherwell and surrounding areas.
The event shall be officially chip timed with start and finish points based at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility.
The entry fee shall include, Fruit,Water, Cereal Bars, Race T-Shirt (supplied on day of race, sizes can be reviewed prior to race commencement at Merchandise Stall) and Hydration Gels.
In addition to the Half Marathon offer, there shall also be a brand new 5K route incorporated to allow anyone from age 11 + to enter an official chip timed event with the route specifically designed to have both start and finish points based at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility.

There shall be fantastic prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place finishers within the following categories;
- 11-13 years - M/F prizes
- 14-15 years - M/F prizes
- 16+ - M/F prizes
Also included on this day shall be an offer of the following:
- 1K for P5 - P7 age groups
- 400 Metres Event for P1-P4 age groups
- Toddler Dash Event - Pre school age groups (3-5 years)
All participants who complete the above race events shall receive a unique finishers medal.
The day shall also feature Bouncy Castles,Trampolines and Face Painting Zones and a large variety of "Come & Try" Sports Development classes also.
With music and entertainment provided, together with Food, Refreshment and Merchandise stalls and vendors also attending on the day, will sure to make for a fantastic family occasion for everyone to enjoy!- so come along and join in the fun!!
